To tell the truth, I was possessed by the bag at the very first sight by its exaggerating color and design as glory as the firework, rather than the originality and culture behind it.
This bag came out as a part of the Louis Vuitton Spring Summer 2006 collection in the manner of Rock music inspired from the clothes of the Hillbilly Cat and the color of southern America. Marc Jacobs went to the residence of the musician, Graceland, and got the inspiration from Elvis Presley’s costumes, thus comes the bag, a combination of Louis Vuitton multicolor canvas and colored suede decorative tassels. Therefore, it benefits people with the view the tassels in yellow, blue, orange, purple flying and dancing up and down, left and right around the LV Multicolor bag. Jacob was also inspired by the American imagination represented by the Rock music and Indian dance, so he trimmed the tassels with LV logo, shining pieces and glass ball.
The design is illustrated in three patterns, including the Bucket, the Speedy and the Demi-Lune.
